But the god who loves us did not leave it there. Through a cross, I kinda think we sang one of those songs too. It was at the cross that god's love bridged the gap to our humanity, and God made all the difference. He made a way for us to be whole, living into our purpose, forgiven, and living into a way where our life is made new. Not because we earned it, not because we deserved it, but because he loves us enough that he doesn't wanna settle for anything less than his fullness in our lives.
