Isn't it funny how we go from being sinners saved by grace to now we go to folk demanding that God bless us every day. And so the Lord blessed them with manna from heaven. At first they was thrilled, but as soon as they grew tired of this manna, they clamored for meat. God had provided, but they still expected more. Come on, teach, pastor. Drive a hooptie? Y 'all, these young folk don't know what hooptie is. If you're old enough, you know a hooptie is a car that barely runs, you understand. And it's funny how we thank God for the hooptie that we first got. And now we want God to give us more than what we deserve. We're living in houses we can't afford. We're driving cars we can't afford. And instead of thanking God for the blessing that he has given us, now we are demanding and expecting.
