My name is Reverend James Overcast and I look forward to partnering on this faith journey with you. I have been in ministry for 8 years serving Dunaway’s Chapel United Methodist Church. I am employed by the Bedford County Dept. of Education. I believe our redeeming God loves all humankind as is evident in sending His son, our Savior Jesus Christ to us all. My hobbies include fishing, hiking, working in my yard and my family! I am a life-long Methodist. I know that each person is unique, and the way we share the Gospel is in as much like fishing. There are many types of bait, locations in the river, times of day, and the days of the year. The fish are there to eat, just as people hunger for the bread of life provided by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Along with Lily, we are looking forward to ministry with the Dunaway’s Chapel United Methodist Church family and are excited in seeing what God has planned for us all in this next journey of faith in our lives. #BeUMC
