Essentially God is saying You should be looking after those who are poor And those who are struggling Because God has looked after the people first Not as an obligation But as a response out of love We love Because he first loved us Their faith should lead them to support the poor among them They shouldn't be profiting out of somebody who is hungry And our faith should lead us to support the poor among us Those who can't make ends meet Those who don't have food to eat Part of our call to follow God Is to be people who make a difference in these situations
