Holy Comforter Episcopal Church in Charlotte, NC is a vibrant, active and welcoming faith community that combines its rich history with a reputation for being an incubator and innovator of ministry, a place where important ministries are born and take root in the wider community.
Since its inception in 1903, Holy Comforter has been an active member of the community. We have supported the founding of other area Episcopal parishes, as well as several organizations that provide ongoing service to our city, such as Boy Scout Troop 1 (1917), the Holy Comforter Weekday School (1955), the Charlotte Loaves and Fishes pantry (1975) and La Escuelita Bilingual Preschool (2009).
We live to be an instrument of God's love by seeking Christ, supporting each other, serving our neighbors, and sharing our abundant gifts. Love grows here at Holy Comforter.
