Jesus is inviting you into something much greater than that. He's inviting you into a life of self-denial for Him. And here's the thing. For anyone who's made the choice to deny self, to lay down our rights, our desires, our freedoms, our dreams, and put them in the hands of Jesus, I'm yet to meet somebody who's regretted that decision. Because oftentimes what we hold on to is junk compared to what God has for us.
