These people That Paul knew People he'd cried with People he'd bled with People he'd worshipped with And prayed with People he had preached Christ to Not religion Not rule keeping Not following the law But Jesus Crucified Risen and freely offered To all And they had believed The spirit had moved Among them Moved among them In great power And they had tasted God's grace But now Paul Hears They're drifting Someone else Has come in after him Some smooth talkers Confident teachers Telling the Galatians That Paul's message You know what That's a good start But it's not enough They insisted That faith in Christ Is good But it's not enough If the Gentiles Truly wanted to belong To the people of God They said They must follow the law
