That's what we're talking about. Surrender. Now I think that most everybody would would agree that surrender is not a word that is well received, generally well received in in our in our culture or by any of us. Right? No. The word surrender is looked at as a negative. Right? Because surrender means that whether you're talking about a nation or a bully or an opposing football team or whatever it gets you, Surrender means that somebody bigger than you, somebody stronger than you, somebody more powerful than you has has defeated you or overcome you or that somebody now bigger than you or more powerful than you or stronger than you is now over you. And and and because of that, you've had to surrender. And so, we naturally look at that as as a a negative. But one of the the ironies of Christianity is that surrendering to god is is a positive, not a negative. You see, surrender to him brings us victory. That's what we have to understand that that when we surrender to him, it's actually for our good that we do it. It's not because we're defeated, but because we're actually going to have victory as a result of doing this in our lives.
