You know, this story does remind me of Jesus. It reminds me of Jesus in two ways. One, there was one day another man who was put into the earth just like Daniel in the lion's den. And who I wondered, what would happen to him? This man who is innocent, would he be found dead or would he be found alive? But when Jesus rose from the dead, he proved that God's power actually works and when you trust him, even death will not overcome you.
