If we live lives of sin and unbelief and deceit, God will judge us. We don't get away with anything. The Bible also says that God says, vengeance is mine. I will repay. God sees it all. He sees our hearts. He knows our thoughts. He knows who we are better than we know who we are. He's a sovereign God and he expects his people to live holy, sanctified lives, set apart from the world and be in a light to a dark world.
