Elizabeth Lutheran Church (Caldwell)

The cross and the work of Jesus on the cross was to reverse everything. When he gave his life on the cross, it didn't mean that he died. It meant that he gave his life for us. That life of obedience, that life of faithfulness, that life of truth. He gave us that. And so God, our Father, knows us through the cross. He knows us through the forgiveness that Jesus won for us. And so we make every effort to know him. It's the greatest thing our lives will ever know.
