Have you ever tried driving while staring in your rear view mirror? I would tell you to try it on your way home, but I'm afraid somebody would send me their body shop bill if you do. You know, you may be able to stay in your lane for a little while, trying to drive while staring in that rearview mirror, but eventually it's not going to end well, right? That rearview mirror is good for reference, but it's not where we're supposed to keep our eyes fixed. It's good to glance at, but it's not meant for a gaze. And so no matter how hard you try, you can't move forward if your eyes are locked on what's behind.
