So what's interesting here, it says that Jesus found Philip. When actually, again, you go back and you you try and look at that word. I went back and looked at the Greek word found. Another way to say it is he ran across Philip. And what was happening was he was traveling on the Sea Of Galilee, Jesus, from Capernaum to Bethsaida. There's those two towns, they're about five miles apart. So Jesus was on a five mile walk. And in the process of going to Bethsaida, he comes across or what we would what we would say today, he bumps into Philip. And when he bumps into Philip, Philip is not his target, but immediately he bumps into him, he invites him, and Philip is immediately in the inner circle. Think about how weird and abnormal that is, that he is not trying to go to that person, but in the process, he bumps into him and immediately just says, hey. Come. And immediately, he's a part of the 12 disciples. It's crazy.
