Jesus calls himself the truth and he could call the devil a thousand different things than he does but when he calls him the father of something he calls him the father of lies and I would rather align with the truth than the father of lies and so even a white lie is a sin the smallest sin is still a sin and carries consequences and honoring God's ways will bring God's favor and rewards.
