Here's what I know, giving first and giving best. It honors our king so that we're not giving him leftovers, so we're not giving him something that wouldn't honor him. Now generosity matters not just because of what it accomplishes, probably much more what it reveals. When we give, we're not just letting go of money. We're actually grabbing hold of trust. Tithing tests trust. And we're reflecting the heart of God who gave first and he gave best.
